Adrienne Johnson is Associate Professor at the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies of the Wilfrid Laurier University.
Her main research interests are environmental governance and feminist methods and methodologies. She specialises in critical approaches to environmental governance and extraction in Ecuador and Indonesia and teaches courses on the topics of nature-society relations, environmental justice and gender and environment. Her doctoral research was on the political ecology and critical resource geographies of the palm oil industry.
Adrienne Johnson is a Visiting Fellow at CAS LMU in June 2025 upon invitation of Prof. Dr. Eveline Dürr (LMU) in the context of the CAS research focus Planetary Health.
